On November 13, 2025 Universidade Católica Portuguesa has entered into a new academic collaboration with Harvard Summer School through the Harvard Division of Continuing Education (DCE), becoming an official member of DCE’s Global Partner Program. This partnership creates expanded opportunities for Católica students to study at Harvard University beginning in Summer 2026.
Through this agreement, eligible Católica students will have access to Harvard Summer School’s renowned academic offerings through either a three-week or four-week session. Students will join a global cohort of peers from leading universities around the world, engaging in rigorous coursework and gaining exposure to Harvard’s dynamic, inclusive learning environment.
Harvard Summer School welcomes thousands of students each year from more than 100 countries. As part of the Global Partner Program, Católica students will receive dedicated enrollment support, advising resources, and access to exclusive partner events designed to enhance cultural exchange and global networking.
According to Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s President, Isabel Capeloa Gil, “this new partnership aligns with Católica’s strategy of providing students with learning experiences that empower them to become global leaders in their fields.”
As part of the launch of this partnership, representatives from Harvard’s Division of Continuing Education will visit Católica’s campus on November 20 at 1:15 pm in Room 131 in LISBON, and on November 21 at 1:00 pm in Room EAA002 in PORTO to meet with students, introduce the program, and provide information about the Summer 2026 application cycle, including special conditions for Catholic University students.
