Raquel Silva, guest lecturer at the School of Nursing (Porto) and Paulo Alves, also a lecturer and director of the School, were awarded the 1st ‘Mariana Diniz de Sousa’ Research Prize for their work ‘Clinical Decision Algorithms in Nursing: contributions to the care of people with complex wounds’.
The award recognises the scientific relevance and practical impact of the work carried out in the area of complex wounds, highlighting the contribution of lecturers to innovation in nursing and to improving the quality of healthcare.
The Award, given by the Secção Regional do Sul da Ordem dos Enfermeiros, aims to distinguish the best research work, promoting the production of scientific knowledge in various areas of Nursing, in a clear appreciation of the profession through science and innovation.
The Escola de Enfermagem congratulates the teachers for their achievement and exemplary contribution to the advancement of nursing science.
