The integration of Genetics and Genomics into clinical practice represents a crucial advancement for the personalization of healthcare, enabling a more precise, preventive, and person-centered approach. Within this framework, another edition of the “Católica Nursing Talk” is taking place—an initiative promoted by the School of Nursing (Porto) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, which aims to foster reflection and debate on emerging and relevant topics in the health field.
With the theme “Genetics and Genomics in Clinical Practice: Contributions of Nursing”, this session will feature Luzia Garrido, a nurse at the Breast Center of ULS São João. Her experience and knowledge will allow for an in-depth exploration of the role of nursing in integrating genomic information into clinical care. The session will be moderated by Vasco Silva Neves and Paulo Alves, faculty members at the School of Nursing (Porto) of the Universidade Católica Portugesa.
17-07-2025 | 6:00 pm | Online by Zoom
The session is free but requires prior registration.
Note: The certificate of attendance for the webinar will only be issued if the participant remains online for at least 80% of the total duration of the session.
