Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
- To participate in the organization and management of services, recognizing the importance of teamwork.
- To identify problems of complexity within the scope of community health or public health at national and local level.
- To select methods for collecting information and analyzing detected problems.
- To identify intervention priorities, particularly those related to epidemiological indicators and health and social determinants, which affect the vulnerability of groups and communities, using the health planning methodology.
- To promote the training of people, groups and communities in the development of their health projects and in the exercise of citizenship, mobilizing the knowledge acquired in different disciplines.
- To use conceptual models in the field of literacy and health promotion.
- To participate in the epidemiological surveillance of health-disease phenomena that occur in a given geodemographic area.
