CASO – Católica Solidária

CASO is the volunteer centre of Universidade Católica - Porto, founded in 2002. CASO promotes volunteering as an "educational brand that transforms for life", strengthening the links between Universidade Católica - Porto and the surrounding society.

CASO promotes formative volunteering, recognised by the academy, which can take 3 types:

• Regular volunteering in 8 SER+ areas: Environment; Shelter; Culture; Special; Example; Professional; Wisdom; Life (weekly commitment of at least 1h30 )
• One-off volunteering: specific activities like collection of goods or campaigns
• International volunteering: summer opportunities ( 10 days to 2 months) - Fly Programme and GAS'África Project
