The 6th ‘CARE: Promoting Attractive and Responsible Research Careers’ meeting, a day dedicated to the research community, will be held on 28 September at the Braga Regional Centre.
This meeting is a reflection on the current challenges of research careers in Portugal and Europe.
The programme includes the participation of Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa; Tomaz Pietrzykoeski from Transform4Europe; Francisco Santos, Vice-President of FCT; Bruno Béu, Advisor to FCT's Board of Directors; Ricardo Simões, from the Northern Regional Coordination and Development Commission; Paulo Jorge Ferreira, Rector of the University of Aveiro and President of CRUP; Rui Vieira de Castro, Rector of the University of Minho and Sílvio Fernandes, Rector of the University of Madeira.
At the end of the meeting there will also be a space for discussion, where everyone is invited to draw together perspectives on research and the challenges it faces.
CARE is an exclusive event for teachers, researchers and doctoral and post-doctoral students at the Universidade Católica.
