The Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will host the 1st International Congress of the Portuguese Society of School Health Nursing (SPEnfSE) on 22 May 2026, at the Carvalho Guerra Auditorium, Porto.
Under the theme “Health Promotion and Equity in Educational Contexts: Global Challenges and Local Responses”, the congress marks the 40th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion and provides a space for reflection and debate on current challenges in school health, health and education policies, and the role of professionals in promoting equity and social justice.
Aimed at professionals working in the field of School Health, with particular relevance for nurses, the event will feature a scientific programme dedicated to the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in this area.
During registration, participants may also apply for membership in the Portuguese Society of School Health Nursing.
